Facial
Acupuncture
Revitalizing skin from the inside out.
Facial acupuncture uses ultra-fine, sterile needles placed on the face and body to support skin health from within.
By stimulating circulation and micro-repair processes, it is designed to support circulation and skin vitality.
What is facial acupuncture?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the face reflects internal balance. By supporting the flow of Qi and Blood, this treatment improves nutrient delivery to the skin while addressing underlying patterns that may contribute to aging, dullness, or breakouts.
Is facial acupuncture for you?
Facial acupuncture is suited for those noticing changes in their skin — such as fine lines, dullness, loss of firmness, acne, or puffiness — and seeking a natural, long-term way to restore balance and vitality.
Rather than quick fixes, it supports the skin from within, helping improve tone, resilience, and overall radiance over time.
Treatments are gentle, using ultra-fine needles with minimal discomfort. Each session is tailored by an experienced practitioner, with close attention to your comfort throughout.

at Shaun’s Zen
1. Consultation
Your visit begins with a conversation — not just about your skin, but about your overall state. Your practitioner will ask about your sleep, digestion, stress, and energy, as these often show up in the face in ways that surface treatments can't reach.
First visits go a little longer to take in the full picture. From there, your practitioner will recommend a treatment plan based on what your body needs from the inside out.
2. Facial Acupuncture Treatment (80min)
You'll rest comfortably while ultra-fine needles are gently placed on the face and at corresponding points on the body. The experience is generally calm and relaxing.
After the session, skin may appear more refreshed — though the deeper work unfolds gradually over a course of care.
面者,神之庭也。——《靈樞·五色》
“The face is the court of the spirit.” From the Lingshu, Chapter 49. The face maps to the internal organs and how the complexion reflects the state of Qi and Blood.
